Can you believe it!

Can you believe that this little girl is 18 months old!!

Sunday was Taytum's official first day in nursery and she did great. She played and played and had a good time all by herself. I have to be honest I almost started to cry when she walked in and didn't look back. She is no longer my little baby anymore

Best Friends

I will forever be grateful to have these special people in our lives. The Smather's family and ours have become great friends in the past two years. When Lisa and I were both pregnant together we would talk about all the fun our girls would have together and how they would become best friends. We could not have been more wrong. I feel like these two adorable girls are like my own daughters. Taytum loves when Lisa comes over and is always wanting her to hold her and play. Taytum gets so excited when we go to their house she can't contain it. Karli and Taytum are less than a month apart in age and are now really starting to love to play together. It was Emma's birthday this week and she turned 3 so we took a trip to the museum to celebrate. Happy Birthday Emma!

Be-lated Valentines

I know this post is a bit delayed but here it is anyway. For Valentines Day Josh and I went out on Saturday night to Macaroni Grill. I had never eaten there and it was delectable. I tried fried Calamari for the first time and it wasn't half bad. Sunday we had Valentines for the whole family. I made a roast for dinner and decorated with heart shape place mats (a tradition of mine)that Taytum kindly decorated. Taytum danced with her daddy before dinner and then after dinner and bedtime Josh and I had strawberry milkshakes for dessert. It was a lot of fun to celebrate all together.

A little bit of Taytum for Ya'll

I wanted to write a post all about Taytum. She is really developing her personality and I wanted to show her during the day. No special occasion just the sweet fun girl I get to spend my days with. So here are a few things about Taytum.

-She is a Diva, it is all about her and she hates being told NoNo.
-She loves to snuggle after her nap time and I enjoy it 100 percent.

-She loves to run and walk, especially with her Daddy. Her new found passion is running naked through my house right before bed time.

-She is so mischievous and is always curious about something.
-She loves reading, especially her library books.

-She is very sensitive when she is around other kids. She does not take well to kids running her over, touching her, hitting her, or doing anything she doesn't like. We have had lots of tears over this.

-She loves to play with her friends Karli and Emma. They have some of the best times together and Taytum giggles as soon as she sees us pulling up to their apartment.

-She is learning all her animal sounds and is pretty hilarious to hear when she tries to talk.
-She loves climbing and can now reach on top of our table and bathroom counters which makes for some fun times.
-She is very affectionate and loves giving hugs and kisses.

Please raise your right hand...

I Bethanie VanBuskirk do solemnly swear to update my way too behind blog. I vow to update everyone on my lazy crazy life just as soon as I finish the long list of house cleaning on my white board. I swear I will post entirely too many pictures of the past few weeks and some new healthy recipes that my dear sweet Taytum loves to eat. I will try my hardest not to get so far behind in the future but can not promise anything since the next two months will be full of activities. Now I must get off my rear end and get to work.
