July 4th Weekend.
This weekend Josh had lots of time off of school (three and a half days) so we pretty much just hung out with each other. It was so much fun just to be able to relax. We went and saw Hancock with our friends Tyler and Toni Petersen, and the four of us experiences Bahama Bucks together for the first time. It was really yummy but pretty expensive. Saturday we went on a grocery shopping date and watched a movie at home. We also picked up a changing table that I found on craigslist for 35 bucks. Taytum's crib also arrived in the mail and Josh let me sneak a peek through the top of the box. It is so beautiful, I can't wait to set it up. We have just about everything that we need for our nursery. The only other big item that I would like is a rocker/glider, but we don't really have the money for one now. We signed a lease at the Oaks apartment complex across the intersection. It is really really nice, but we will have to be mean bugeters to pay for it. We move into that apartment Saturday August 9. So we have a bought a month to get everything packed up and ready for our great friends to come and help us move. Last weekend we went to Lake Dallas and had a bbq with some older tri Parker students. It was fun and Josh and a bunch of other people went for a little dip in the lake. Me I just stayed on shore and took some pictures. I went to another doctors appointment and the nurse said that everything is looking great with the baby and that I am not anemic. We are getting close to our due date which is so exciting. With all this heat and humidity I am so ready to not be pregnant. I think Josh is ready too. (for me not to be pregnant I mean) We are excited for my parents to be able to come down when Taytum comes and wish more of our family could come. My friend Sarah Rutter is throwing me a baby shower on the 19 and I am so glad that I have such good friends here in Texas. It will be a busy week that week. All in all everything is great!

Our first tomato!
Last week I picked our very first cherry tomato from our mini garden. I waited till Josh got home and we sliced it in half and ate it. It was so yummy! We had to take our picture because it was the first fruit or vegetable that I have ever grown. I think we have a few more that are getting pretty close to being ripe. I can't wait for my strawberries now.

I got back on Tuesday from spending two weeks in Farmington with my family. I had so much fun! My aunts threw me a baby shower while I was down and Taytum got so many cute things. All my wonderful aunts gave me the complete crib set that I wanted. I also made a rag quilt to match and was pretty dog gone excited about how good it came out. I will have to get a picture to post. Josh has stayed pretty busy with school. His adjusting table finally came in and he is learning new moves to practice on me. Josh and I are going to look at apartments this weekend, I checked out four different complexes today and we have narrowed down to two choices. Josh wants to walk through the apartments to see what he likes best. We have an idea which one but want to explore our options. We will definitely have more space, the one we like has a huge bedroom and a study( the size of a bedroom) for Taytum. The apartment we like is just across the intersection from us so it won't be a far move. Since we only have seven more weeks to find an apartment and ten (or less) more weeks before Taytum arrives we are trying to get everything smoothed out before our lives get crazy busy. We are excited because our little friend Elliot turns one this weekend and we get to go to his party. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends here in Dallas.
