Taytum's new discovery

Taytum has discovered her tongue this week. I have caught her several times wiggling it in and around her mouth. It is so hilarious to watch her. I ask her to show me her tongue and she sticks it out just a little. It is so fun to watch her as she discovers new things and the excitement she gets from figuring out what she can do. The best part is that when she makes us laugh she gets all excited and starts to laugh and just smiles and smiles.

VanBuskirk update

I just realized that it has been almost two weeks since I posted anything. Life here has had a few events but mostly stayed the same. We went to Leander Texas to check out Doug Faulks practice and spend some time down there. I got to do some shopping while Josh did a spinal screening. Last night I was in a car accident right outside my apartment and was so luck that it just left a scratch and a cracked review mirror. I was so relieved to look in my back seat and see that Taytum was sound asleep. It didn't even affect her. It reminded me of the Carrie Underwood song Jesus Take The Wheel. My baby was in the back seat sleeping like a rock. I almost cried getting out of the car to check on her I was so worried. But I made a claim with the girls insurance and everything should work out. Good thing I know so many future chiropractors that can fix me or Taytum if anything went wrong. We found out that Josh's Grandma Thompson is flying us down to Farmington/Durango for Thanksgiving. The closer it gets the more excited I am to see everyone. We were not expecting to have our families meet Taytum until Christmas so it is such a nice surprise. Then we only have three weeks until Christmas. Can you believe it? The holidays are already here. I still can't believe it was the day after last Christmas that I found out I was pregnant with my sweet little baby. We get three weeks for Josh's Christmas break and they are going to be much needed by the time this tri is over. All the other wives of the Tri four students know exactly what I am talking about. This has been a rough Tri. Five babies in our group have been born and our husbands have been bored out of their minds at school. Can anyone say VACATION.
