The Tent

It always touches my heart to see my dad and Taytum. They have such a special relationship together. I am sure that she will learn very quickly that her Grandpa will let her do what ever she wants and have him wrapped around her finger. Taytum and I flew into Farmington a few days early this year and we had been home for about two minutes before my dad went downstairs to get this.
He made a special trip on black friday to get this tent and was so excited to set it up for Taytum. She loved playing in it, watching movies in it, crawling through the tunnel (not pictured) and playing with who ever would get in there with her.

Let It Snow!

It snowed the last week we were in New Mexico so I bundled up Taytum and headed out side for a little taste of the snow. She was not really sure about walking outside since it was really cold but after I handed her a snowball she decided that it was pretty fun.

Christmas was so much fun this year. We had our second round of Christmas at Josh's dad's house the Sunday before Christmas. It was so fun to see everyone and enjoy Venyce's fabulous cooking. We spent Christmas Eve with my extended family and Christmas breakfast with them as well. Then Josh went on a 'man' date with my cousins, brothers, and uncle to see Sherlock Holmes. Afterward we drove up to Durango and spent an evening with Josh's mom and her boys. Sunday morning after all the family arrived from out of town we had Christmas morning with my family. Taytum loved all of her fun new toys and Josh and I got some really great stuff. A week of Christmas is long and exhausting but we really enjoyed it. Enjoy some of the pictures from my families christmas.

A little overwhelmed with presents.
The cutest jammies from Grandma Venyce.
Her favorite toy, a giraffe from Carter.
She got a beautiful new dress and matching coat.
